I strongly believe that Baku Water Week will provide opportunities not only for government institutions, but also for the private sector and experts to identify innovative solutions to existing challenges based on new ideas. It will foster new initiatives, promote effective business partnerships, and contribute significantly to enhancing the efficiency of water resources management in our country. 

In Azerbaijan, important steps are being taken towards the modernization of water management. New technological solutions are being implemented to ensure the efficient use of water resources, while the water quality monitoring system is being improved and comprehensive measures are applied to minimize losses. At the same time, the introduction of digital management and monitoring systems creates the conditions for more transparent and flexible governance of water resources. 

In recent years, systematic measures have been carried out in our country to renew and develop water management infrastructure. In line with modern requirements, new reservoirs are being built, while existing water infrastructure facilities are being substantially rehabilitated and expanded. These projects make a valuable contribution to the socio-economic development of the regions. 

The construction of new water infrastructure improves agricultural productivity by enhancing irrigation, broadens access to safe drinking water for the population, contributes to environmental protection, and, overall, ensures sustainable development. Furthermore, these projects help improve public welfare, increase employment, and strengthen food security. 

The conference held within Baku Water Week will serve as an excellent platform for exchanging ideas and experiences on water resources management, water supply, and related issues. Discussions will also focus on developing practical solutions for water resources management, while raising public awareness of the importance of their sustainable use and governance. 

I am confident that Baku Water Week will create new opportunities for each of you and foster stronger cooperation. Once again, I wish all participants of the exhibition and conference great success.
