Established back in 2007 in Munich, our company is a technology provider of wastewater treatment solutions; our activity covers the treatment and subsequent utilization of stormwaters and industrial effluents.
As part of the International Water Industry Exhibition, BIOWORKS presents a unique package that includes a proprietary system of semi-submersible and floating aeration systems OXIWORKS® and OXIRISE®. By using these systems and adjusting the package geometry, we achieved up to 40% saving during both construction and operation, as well as in energy consumption. Our aeration systems are also unique in that they do not need replacement; they can be fixed on the go if a malfunction occurs, and then keep running trouble-free.
Our company has delivered three projects in Azerbaijan so far: we have installed two extended aeration systems in Shahbuz and Shamakhi and one MBR system in Nakhchivan. On a wider scale, BIOWORKS has delivered nearly 140 projects in 120 countries around the globe.
I must say the International Water Industry Exhibition has been organized at the highest level; however, I do believe it should be upsized in the years to come as Azerbaijan is increasingly facing water shortage. What we would love to see here is more European manufacturers and companies that offer their technologies and equipment. There are not many of them here today, unfortunately.
