Feyzail Yusifov, Head of the Technical Department at the "Azerkimya" Production Association
I was drawn to the exhibition by the desire to explore projects and innovations in the field of water treatment. The "Azerkimya" Production Association is an enterprise under the Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR. At present, a number of water treatment, water cooling, sewage systems and other installations are in operation at our enterprise. However, we are constantly evolving on a technical level. The enterprise is undergoing modernization and renovation of existing systems and installations. There are even funded projects awaiting implementation, and some are in the process of budget approval. We need companies offering turnkey solutions with subsequent service support.
It is precisely for the implementation of these projects and for finding the most modern and advanced solutions in the fields of water supply and water treatment that we are attending this exhibition. We are currently forming a tender package and inviting companies to participate.
At the exhibition, our specialists held several interesting meetings with companies whose technologies and solutions caught our attention. We decided to communicate our requirements and project volumes to them. If they are capable of meeting them, we will take promising steps forward.
I would also like to thank all the organizers and contributors of Baku Water Week. At the same time, I would like to address the exhibition participants. In my opinion, some companies could have approached the design of their stands more creatively and provided more information about their companies directly through the stand design. I believe this is important for attracting visitors.
Additionally, I would like to emphasize that the exhibition itself plays a major role in raising awareness about the industry and the challenges we face. The business program of the exhibition is also very rich and raises important issues. It is necessary that all these issues do not remain within the pavilion walls, but go beyond the exhibition and find real solutions in the future.
